Nynke - ALTER (work in progress)

A first impression of the next album of Nynke! Nynke writes and sings her songs in Frisian, her native tongue. Frisian is an old, poetic language that is spoken in Friesland, which lies in the north of The Netherlands. For her new album ALTER she collaborates with the acclaimed Spanish guitarist/producer Javier Limón (Buika, Mariza, Yasmin Levi). He created a musical basis of flamenco rhythms & guitars, which they combine with the characteristic percussion of the Frisian percussionist/composer Sytze Pruiksm
