We check out the 100 best games released in 1984 for the ZX Spectrum 16k and 48k computers. This year the 48k machine is taking the lead, with much most software produced for 48k than for 16k. The use of the extra 32k RAM in most games is easy to see in the overall games quality, which has raised magnificent compared to 1982 and 1983. This year support for joystick interfaces was also implemented in almost all releases, and according to Spectrum Computing; 1984 was the year where most games were released for the ZX Spectrum.
