It’s Finally Here... - Viking Unboxing Time!

Master armorer Jeffrey Hildebrandt from Royal Oak Armoury does truly amazing work. This is so far above and beyond any other helmet I’ve tried on... Lighter, much more refined, better fitted, and just beautiful. This helmet reproduction is based on the Valsgärde 8 find from the Vendel period, so technically before the start of the Viking age. This is a less luxuriously decorated version and it doesn’t have the mail face guard, which reduces the cost substantially. This is not my regular first impression kind of video, I spiced it up with some funny skits and weird shenanigans.
