Douglas B-18 Bolo. The Douglas B-18 Bolo bomber served with the U.S. Army Air Corps and the Royal Canadian Air Force (as the Douglas Digby) during the 1930s and early 1940s. The Douglas B-18 Bolo was built by Douglas Aircraft Company. By 1940, the Douglas B-18 Bolo was underpowered, had weak defensive armament, and carried too small a bomb load.
