Millie, a successful young fund manager, leaves her job and boyfriend to chase her lifelong dream of becoming an opera singer. To that end, she travels to a small village in the Scottish Highlands, where she becomes a student of the “Mad Diva”, who is also training one other student, Max. Both aiming to win a prestigious singing contest, Millie and Max become rivals.
