NOTE: The route of today’s Lake Shore Limited is similar to the famous 20th Century Limited. But, as has been pointed out, the 20th Century began and ended at different stations. In Chicago, it began the journey at LaSalle Street Station. In New York City, it ended at Grand Central Terminal. Today’s Lake Shore Limited starts in Chicago at its Union Station, and ends at Penn Station in New York.
