Huge boat topples at Leith dock sparking major emergency leaving 25 injured

A HUGE ship has toppled over at a Scots dock sparking a major emergency incident. Police, ambulances and the fire service were called to a report that a ship had become dislodged from its holding at Imperial Dock in Leith at around on Wednesday. The research vessel appears to have tilted at a “45 degree angle“ due to heavy winds. The ship, RV Petrel, is a research vessel owned by the estate of Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen. Some workers were initially feared missing but all casualties on the boat have been located. A total of 25 people were injured and 15 are in hospital, the Scottish Ambulance Service has confirmed.
