Palestinian activist takes on Sky News narratives on Gaza

‘Palestinians don’t just die. They get killed.’ In a fiery interview with Sky News, human rights activist and Gaza native Yara Eid takes aim at the ‘language’ used by journalists in framing the war in Gaza, which has killed more than 4300 people including 1700 children. This follows the attack on 7 October which killed 1400 Israelis. Yara’s heartbreaking testimony went viral last week following the killing of her best friend, 21-year-old journalist Ibrahim Lafi, in an Israeli airstrike.
