Frames from game start to boss death: 218530 Re-Records: 18488 I worked on this nearly every day for two months, totaling to just under 500 hours. I hope people enjoy it, and that this doesn’t stop Extra from being created/released. Please note that I had to completely disable game audio to stop the game from desyncing, so all of the audio here was manually inserted back in with higher quality music/samples. This took me about the same amount of time to do as creating the TAS itself, so if you see any input/routing errors you don’t need to tell me. I already know from staring at every single frame under a magnifying glass. This Tool-Assisted Speedrun (TAS) was created with hourglass which allows for save stating and frame advance. It aims to beat the game in the shortest time possible while also doing all platforming secretes without the wrong warp glitch. Some time vs entertainment trade-offs are also done.
