Slovenia: Pro and anti-Russian protesters face-off in Ljubljana

Dozens of pro and anti-Russian protesters faced off outside the Russian Embassy in Ljubljana on Saturday, as Russia’s President Vladimir Putin visited the country. The pro-Russian contingent consisted of members of Slovenia’s Socialist Party. One pro-Russian protester denounced Ukraine as a“ great example of what happens when fascism gets stronger,” adding “this is why we are against rallies like this one - organised by Ukrainian fascists supporting fascist Ukrainian authorities.“ Video ID: 20160730-021
