International Court of Justice terms Israeli occupation of Palestine illegal | Janta Ka Reporter

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) says Israel’s settlement policies and exploitation of natural resources in the Palestinian territory are in breach of international law. The top court also said that Israeli occupation was akin to an apartheid regime. This means that the UN General Assembly could now potentially move forward with suspending Israel’s activities at the organisation.
