Various Artists - . Collective Group Tape #6 (1983)

The . collective tapes are a series of 8 compilation albums of electronic music released through the International Electronic Music Association, an independent label created in 1979 by James E. Finch. The last 2 tapes in the series were lost in an apartment accident. Progressive Electronic / Ambient / Drone / Known Drill. Below is the Anvil Creations writeup for this album, taken from its Bandcamp page: “We finally come to the end of my involvement in the International Electronic Music Association’s Group Tape Project. Tape #6 was the last collective album that I put together; I believe Jim Finch made two more, but the tapes #7 and #8 were lost in an apartment accident years ago. This collection of music features tracks from Chris Gross, Peter Kaminski, Dave Butler, Lauri Paisley, Dave Lunt (from Nightcrawlers fame) and myself (Ken Moore). I know Dave Lunt has been active still, but the only other person I have had contact with in the last few years is Chris Gross.
