Cigar Box Guitar Pickup with Install (Time Laps)

This video is about cigar box guitars and what it may sound like with a pickup. This version includes Time Laps of the install process. I purposely cut, drilled and filed the pickup hole, knowing that many people may not have a router or templates for a ultra clean install. Warp Core pickups, hand wound in Oregon, supplied their “Micro 3“ model pickup. , Walnut top, Alnico 5 magnets. Warp Core can be found at and on Facebook. (Mike knows his stuff!) I used my Marshall Origin 50 for the demo with a Shure SM57 mic. I used the ZVEX Box of Rock for some medium overdrive.
