Convection 3.0 | An 8K weather timelapse

Twelve years later (yes you read that correctly, 12 years!!) I present to you the third video of my weather timelapse series! This video was shot between 2020 and 2022 in the Dolomites and Southern Germany. Summers in the Alps can be characterized by frequent thunderstorms and changing weather which are often triggered by the rugged mountainous terrain. Capturing storms in this environment is challenging to say the least, with narrow busy roads, limited access to open views and virtually no real time weather data. I hope you enjoy the film!
