Porsche typ 64 at HO 2013

1939 Porsche type 64 at the Hessisch Oldendorf vintage VW show. This car was built to race in the 1939 Berlin to Rome road race which never happened because of the war. Car is built on a 1938 Volkswagen prototype chassis and uses a lot of VW parts. It belongs to the PROTOTYP MUSEUM in Hamburg. It was exhibited with other pre-war Volkswagen cars at the show. At the end it was driven from the old town to the Grundmann museum. Here is a rare glance from the passenger seat of this remarkable car.
