Blenheim Palace

Blenheim Palace is situated in the market town of Woodstock in Oxfordshire. The palace is one of England’s largest houses and the only non-royal country house to hold the status of ’Palace’. in the year 1704, the battle of Blenheim was won, led by John Churchill the 1st Duke of Marlborough. He was given the park, Woodstock manor and £240,000 to build the palace as a gift from Queen Anne and a grateful nation for winning the war.
