John Glen, the Paymaster General, is announcing the Government’s infected blood compensation scheme as he delivers a statement in the House of Commons.
Mr Glen repeated Rishi Sunak’s apology to the victims of the infected blood scandal.
“I am sorry,” he said.
He described the scandal as an “appalling tragedy”.
