Василий Алексеевич Пушкарев “НЕВЫДУМАНО“

Vassily Pushkarev is a legendary director of the Russian museum in . He was the head of this museum for over 27 years. It was during this time that the foundation of the current collection of the museum was established. Pushkarev resurrected such names as Serebryakova, Malevich, Petrov-Vodkin and many others. All of these artists were long forgotten before Pushkarev began organizing their exhibitions at the Russian museum. It is believed that he was never wrong in his evaluation of the artist.
