Monkey Rescue

2000 monkeys are stranded at a temple in Nakon Sawan. The temple is over 2 hours away by boat and the monkeys have been starving for weeks. Sangduen ’Lek’ Chailert (founder of Save Elephant Foundation) takes a team of volunteers to provide bananas, cucumbers and dog food. She will return to Nakon Sawan tonight to provide further assistance and then move on to help animals in Bangkok. Stay tuned for further updates from the animal rescue crew here in Thailand.
