Versailles: MonChevy - No Light

I know, it’s another gay couple. I swear it’s not on purpose. I don’t see gender, I see chemistry and these two are just so intense. Sucked me right in from the start. Even if I don’t really understand their bizarre need to slap each other around, must be a guy thing. :D The song is “No Light, No Light“ by Florence and the Machine, I thought it was perfect for them :) One more thing I don’t actually get about this show. It’s historically accurate as far as I understand, but they have out and proud gay men at court? Cross-dressing gay men? Either we took a HUGE step backward when it comes to gay rights OR Philippe only gets away with it because he is the King’s brother. I wonder which it is.
