A police car came under attack, with its windows smashed and the vehicle being overturned. Videos show the crowd attacking the police vehicle, using a pram, rocks, and bicycles to smash its windows before flipping it onto its side. Leeds slipped into total chaos as police struggled to control the angry mob. Riots are believed to have been caused after social services took away some children from a family.
