Qinghai, is a province in the North West region of China located south of the Republic of Mongolia, east of Xinjiang, and north of Tibet Auto. Region in the far northern reaches of the massive Tibetan Plateau. It is home to many cultures including Tibetan, Muslim, Mongol and Han and is home to the source of the two major rivers of China. It is home to the Tibetan historical province of Amdo.
