[4K] – Alaska’s Salmon Thirty Salmon Retirement Flight – Boeing 737-890 – AS65 – Milk Run – N559AS

See more detailed information about this flight in the description and in the pinned comment! On Monday April 17, 2023, Alaska Airlines bid farewell to their famous “Salmon Thirty Salmon.“ After 18 years representing wild Alaskan seafood, first on a Boeing 737-400 and then on the Boeing 737-800 presented in this video, it was time to say farewell to the world’s largest flying fish for good. The aircraft will soon go in for a repaint, and it will not keep this iconic livery. This once in a lifetime commemorative final flight is full of celebration, beautiful views, and of course, many shots of the stunning Salmon Thirty Salmon! Very fittingly this iconic representative of Alaska’s final flight was AS65, one of Alaska’s famous milk runs! AS65 begins in Seattle, and makes its way north to Anchorage with stops in Ketchikan, Wrangell, Petersburg, and Juneau. This Milk Run also includes the segment from Wrangell to Petersburg, which at only 31 miles is the shortest commercial flight in the USA. This video presents the entire journey from start to finish, in crystal clear 4K 60fps, so you too can be a part of history as this beautiful livery is retired for good!
