RoboCop Music Video (Basil Poledouris)

It has been a long time since I last uploaded a music video. But here I am to erase that mistake, so please don’t kill me. After my previous video, which was a little more subdued, I wanted to do something which was, shall we say, louder. So I went with ’RoboCop’ (1987), one of the best movies of my fellow Dutchman Paul Verhoeven. I love this movie a lot and the music kicks all kinds of ass. ’RoboCop’ revolves around a cop called Alex James Murphy who is transferred to the crime-ridden city of Detroit. Not being a lucky type of guy Murphy soon finds himself on the wrong end of a few shotguns. Needless to say he’s blown to pieces. In an effort to revolutionize crime fighting a company called OCP uses Murphy, or what’s left of him, as the human element in a cyborg. Thus RoboCop is born.
