jewelry design love this earring project, simply because you need very few supplies to make them, really just a little wire and a bead, also a post backing if you choose to do that project. You can use any round bead that you want in whatever size you prefer, the only thing to keep in mind is that an 18-22 gauge wire, whatever gauge you are using, fits through the hook style project starts at 1:20. For the hook earring tutorial I used, 1, 10 mm moss agate round bead and 3 inches of 20 gauge wire, for the post style earring I used 1, 10 mm moss agate bead with 1 1/2 inches of 20 gauge wire.
