Is it possible to cure cancer with viruses? Margarita not only believes that, she creates such a medicine. Yes, those viruses themselves can cause severe diseases. Yes, she and her colleagues are going to use the as a cure for cancer. Yes, viruses can fight tumors. How scientists solve those contradictions, domesticate viruses and make them our helpers in fight with cancer - this is what her lecture is about. Biologist, Ph.D, working in bionanotechnology lab in NSU, Novosibirsk. Rita’s major interest is molecular biology and virology. Her life combines studying oncolytic viruses and teaching yoga and contemporary dancing in her free time.
