Handpan retreat group performs “Mezmay Song“

Wanna learn some techniques i use in this video? I explain them here: Recorded in Mezmay, Russia at the last day of our 5 day handpan retreat. I enjoyed every second of this event and really wish we can do it next year again! This is the practice song that i composed specially for our seminar. We learned a lot about split-hand, independence, “interlocking“ and composition on the handpan. And that was just one topic of my course which we went through this time! Despite sounding simple this song is not easy to play at all. The accompaniment happens in the right hand and includes quite complex split-hand pattern. And melody is played by left hand and falls mostly to the off-beats. We managed to learn this composition quite well during those 5 days immersion in the most awesome place at the Caucasus mountains :) I want to express my deep gratitude to all the participants of this event and to the Mezmay local
