Hazbin Hotel Mythbusters Part 1: The Dark Lore Behind Soul Ownership and Character’s Eyes

Did you know this in Hazbin Hotel? Recently there’s been a theory about the characters eyes and what they mean. Let’s do some mythbusting. So the theory says that characters who are owned by someone else will have black eyes, for example husk. Angel has one black eye because he’s half owned by valentino. Characters with red eyes own someone else, for example alastor. Alastor has red eyes, although when we see his true form his eyes turn black, and he’s also owned by someone else. So perhaps he has two sets of eye colours because he both owns people and is owned himself, or because he is disguising his eyes. And lastly normal sinners will have yellow eyes. In my opinion i don’t believe the theory. The characters eyes are definitely important, but i don’t think the ownership of someone’s souls affects it. Husk had black eyes during the flashback sequence in episode 5 when he was an overlord. Nifty has red eyes despite being owned by alastor, and there’s a whole host of characters with randomly coloured eyes. The hellborn imps definitely have eyes based on their race such as the imps all having yellow eyes. However i think sinners’ eyes are based solely on their appearance and how they died. #vivziepop #hazbinhotel #hazbin
