Testing the Rotax Thunder Electro Kart

For the first Electro Kart Racing series in the world, DEKRA tested the batteries and electric powertrain as part of the homologation and approval process of the Rotax Thunder Electro Kart for the German Motorsport Federation. The e-kart has a top speed of 130 km/h and an acceleration of 0-100 km/h in 3.5 seconds.
