CANELO ALVAREZ (MEXICO) vs CALEB PLANT (USA) TKO FIGHT!

Welcome, guys, thanks for joining me again in this update. I hope you’re all well. So, we’ve just watched an amazing fight between Saul Canelo Alvarez and Caleb Plant, which was scheduled on November 6, 2021, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. It was a monumental event in boxing as it determined the first undisputed super middleweight champion. Now both fighters came into the ring with different styles and strengths, making for a highly anticipated clash. Plant was more of an agile and slick-moving boxer, whereas Canelo was an aggressive combination power puncher. I enjoyed watching the exchanges in this fight. Tbh I think Plant took a page out of Mayweather’s book in his approach to fighting Canelo. He used the Catch-and-Shoot well off his shoulder roll but instead of targeting Canelo’s head with the counters, I think he would’ve been better served down the stretch if he had targeted Canelo’s Body. With Canelo, I think he adapted well to Plant’s defensive shoulder roll maneuver because Plant was successful in using it to counter Canelo early on. However, Canelo began controlling Plant with his lead hand after feinting him into certain positions and then he found it a lot easier to target Plant’s body and head. Now, guys, you should know by watching this fight that Canelo was the first undisputed champion at Super Middleweight. Despite this, He recently had the IBF belt stripped because he did not fulfill a mandatory, William Scull, and instead looked to more lucrative fights. So Canelo has a fight booked, and it will be a massive PBC pay-per-view event on the 14th of September at the T-mobile Arena, Las Vegas, where he’ll be going up against Edgar Berlanga, the Puerto Rican star who had a crazy, insane run of 16 straight 1st round Knockouts. Yeah, guys, 16 in a row... go and check out his highlight reel... insane stuff.
