The Delhi leg of Indian cricket team’s T20 World Cup title win concluded with Prime Minister Narendra Modi hosting them at his official residence in the national capital. The team, led by Rohit Sharma, landed at the Indira Gandhi International Airport early on Thursday with hundreds of fans lining up the roads to welcome their stars. Following the celebrations, the Board of Control for Cricket in India has organised a function at the stadium where they will hand over the prize money of 125 crores to the Indian Cricket team to bring pride to the nation as they are now the World T20 Champions after being South Africa by 7 runs in Barbados. While India’s win has certainly caused a frenzied storm within the country, it was not an easy way back home for the Men in Blue as they were stranded briefly as international flights were cancelled due to Hurricane Beryl. Now the team along with the support staff and many members of the media have made their way back into the country and the celebrations
