THE MAGIC SCISSORS based on Jewish tales The story is a fairytale adventures of a poor tailor Shmuel that lives in an average Jewish township somewhere in the East Europe. He inherited magic scissors from his grandfa. When Shmuel`s mom dies he under sentimental sadness drunk away the advanced payment received for a big order, pledged his inheritance and eventually bought a fiancée…with a surprise. But fairytale is a fairytale and the main character not only gets into trouble but also receives a fate`s gift. That’s why the fairytale should obviously end in a wedding. But not the one that was planned in the beginning. And as the film was shot by dancers of cause it is indispensable without dances. This movie units a vintage stile of first non-sound cinematography, literature and Jews townships music playing alive by lady’s (non)klezmer music band.
