This allows counters that apply to electronic cameras to work against the windows with the advantage of not having to render a picture-in-picture scene in the game engine and having to adjust to a shifted perspective when peeking behind the window. Lore-wise this could be explained through a tech collaboration between Iana and Mira. Unlike shown in the video the screen could possibly be less fragile and have a battery pack where the canister used to be. This way explosives behind the mirror would still destroy the battery pack while defenders would still be able to pre-fire opponents without shattering the screen.
