Gunman kills more than 16 in Canada’s worst act of mass murder in 30 years

A gunman in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia killed more than 16 people, including a policewoman, during a 12-hour rampage, in the worst act of mass murder the country has seen in 30 years. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police [RCMP] said 51-year-old Gabriel Wortman shot people in several locations across the Atlantic province.
