For those final touches, it’s often helpful to step back and view your piece from a distance. This way, any imperfections, like a lopsided knot pattern or slanted fringe, become more apparent. Trust your instincts, as they’re usually right! To make adjustments without going too far, hang up your project, tighten the knots, trim one section at a time, and then step back to assess the improvements. ❤️ How do you finish your projects? This piece was a labor of love throughout December. While it may not seem complicated, it involved a lot of experimentation and knot tying. It’s something I’ve envisioned for a while but hadn’t found the time (or maybe the courage) to sit down and create. However, I’m glad I did because it inspired my theme for 2024: new. I want to explore new techniques, create new designs, and continue pushing myself to grow and learn.
