Cute Happy Jumping Spider in HD

I was in my kitchen when I spotted this little guy high up on a door ledge. He was peering down at me with his 2 front tiny eyes and was barely the size of a dime. I grabbed a plastic cup (what my wife calls the “bug cup“) and trapped him. I took him outside and placed him on top of a recycling bin and took several minutes of footage with my Nokia Lumia 1020. This is 1080P video@24fps. Had to use manual focus due to the extreme zoom, and tiny subject. Watch to the end, he surprised me by jumping at the camera and onto my hand. This is the cutest spider I’ve captured on film to date. Update: Finally got around to looking the species up. This is Phidippus princeps also known as the Prince Jumping Spider.
