Lennie Niehaus Jazz Conception for Saxophone adapted for guitar. This is exercise No. 5 with application of phrasing and articulation as explained in the Introduction. Subjects there include: triplet feel, articulation marks (legato, staccato, short accent, long accent), phrasing marks (slurs, legato marks) and execution for guitar (alternate picking, hammer-ons, pull-offs and slides).
