Kit Carson and The First Battle of Adobe Walls

After Kit Carson left beaver trapping as a profession, he lived a long life. For a time he served in the army. As a soldier he led an expeditionary force in a major conflict with indians in The Battle of Adobe Walls which took place in the panhandle of Texas.
