THE FIRE INSIDE - Teresa Orlowski - Larry Bonneville LYRIC VIDEO - VTO Foxy Lady - Remastered Audio
This is one of the most influential songs for me and my own music. If the intro is too long for you - be sure to check out the chorus. It’s ultra-catchy and will stick in your ears forever...
Written and composed by Thilo Rex in 1986 for VTO Pictures (Hans Moser & Teresa Orlowski). Arranged by Silke Rex featuring great studio musicians and singers!
The woman in the clip who is pretending to be the singer doesn’t really sing on this track. It’s Isabelle Torilla and she was actually a porn actress (Foxy Lady 2, Born for Love, Sexual Power etc.)
I was lucky to be in touch with Thilo before his untimely death and he shared lots of information about his musical work for Hans and Teresa.
The original demo version of this song was called “Strangers in Paradise“ and had a totally different chorus.
The biggest question to this day is what happened to LARRY BONNEVILLE, the singer in the clip. His last appearance was in the VTO movie “Teresa - The woman who loves men Part 2“ in which he played himself on the set of the videoclip to the single version of “The Fire Inside“.
If you know ANYTHING about him - please get in touch with me on Facebook (Mirko Hirsch) or post a comment. I don’t even know, if Larry Bonneville was his real name but I doubt it. If you can help - please do.
Some words about this performance clip:
This is a special version of the clip shot in the discotheque KU in Lippstadt in 1986 which can be found as the intro of the movie Foxy Lady 7.
The DVD re-release of the clip features this specific clip but with credits and scenes with the actors superimposed over the actual footage. So, I took the version with out credits from the “Songs for Teresa“ VHS and filled the parts that had credits and scenes from the movie.
The song “The Fire Inside“ exists in three versions:
1. The official CD Version (7:42 min.),
2. The longer VHS/DVD version (9:27 min.) that could also be found on the official MC (music cassette),
3. The 7“ single version (4:35 min.)
Enjoy this performance clip shot at the discotheque KU in Lippstadt, Germany in 1986. One year before, the famous “RockPop MusicHall“ TV show was produced there but in 1993 the disco burnt down and there is nothing left of it today.
Thanks to all artists, songwriters and musicians involved in the VTO Pictures / Galaxy Music history for all the pleasure you gave to us!
Yours,
Mirko Hirsch
