Quick L/S pan across a group of stars posing with Secretary of US Treasury Henry Morgenthau - those recognised by this cataloguer are Greer Garson, James Cagney, Ann Rutherford, Irene Dunne, Hedy Lamarr, Ann Sothern (?), Ginny Sims (?), Larry Adler (?). Morgenthau makes a speech (not heard) then we see Greer Garson signing charity autographs. Elsewhere, bandleader Kay Kyser and Hedy Lamarr sit at a table and sign autographs. L/S of film stars waving from the rostrum - others spotted here include Spring Byington and Abbott and Costello. Note: woman to left of Greer Garson could be Ida Lupino or Martha Raye.
