Caught By The Camera No. 17 (1935)

Titles read: “Caught by the Camera“. Various locations of events. At Croydon Airport, Surrey, we see a woman driving a miniature car around the tarmac. The car is loaded onto an Imperial Airways airliner for delivery in Paris. Commentator says it has made history by becoming the first car to be transported by aeroplane. Brief shots of the plane taking off. In London we see chorus girls from ’Jill Darling’ at the Saville Theatre riding about on hobby horses. The girls wear suits and move the horses along by sitting up and down in the seat. Their ’racecourse’ looks like an area at the back of the exterior of the theatre. Various shots of some Great Dane puppies with their mother in the United States of America. A little girl plays with them. At the opening of a Berlin bird show we see hundreds of homing pigeons flying out of baskets. Some exotic breeds of pigeons are seen; a blonde girl holds one to her face as if it is a dove. Visuals cut out a few seconds before the end of the story; so
