Dog Aka Peggy The Dog (1944)

Peggy the dog. Brighton, Sussex. M/S of a spaniel wearing glasses, she has a pipe in her mouth and a beer bottle balanced on her head. M/S of her owner, landlord Alfred Appleton sitting at a table with some other men. Peggy, without her disguise, puts coins in the Red Cross bucket. She goes behind the bar and picks up a bottle of beer for him. She also brings out a mallet when a “fight“ breaks out at the bar.
