Caught By The Camera No. 14 (1934)

Titles read: “Caught By The Camera“. Various locations. In New York, United States of America, we see women modelling gowns from Victorian times that belong to the New York Museum. M/S of a group of women in the dresses fades into M/S of the women in the same positions, but wearing evening dresses of 1934. The modern dresses are influenced by the styles of the old costumes in the collection, and are made from similar fabrics. A bridal gown of American Civil War times has apparently influenced a simple bridal gown of 1934. Brief shot of the Dionne quintuplets; cut to the world’s latest set of quintuplets - some baby tiger cubs in a cage - very cute! In America we see a brief shot of a performing monkey on a table before an audience of children in a hospital; a man holds the lead. Visuals cut out after a few seconds, leaving us with track only for the remainder of the short segment (about 20 seconds); we hear the man talking to the monkey and the children laughing and applauding.
