Sea scouts river patrol. Location of events unknown. Various shots of the sea scouts. One shows the others an advert for people to join the River Emergency Service. We accompany one of them on his way to ’join up’ We see him reporting for duty on training ship “Discovery“, then completing sequence of training, and relaxing on board. Various shots of him eating with colleagues and practising signalling. He is then transferred to another larger ship “Worcester“ of the River Patrol for harbour duty. They row away on the patrol.
