Just Like Mother (1942)

Titles read: “JUST LIKE MOTHER“. Somewhere in Britain. WAAFs (Women’s Auxiliary Air Force) wearing white overalls and headscarves march about a parade ground. We then see them in a classroom, where a man at a blackboard instructs them on carving meat. The WAAFs have their hands inspected on the parade ground. Several brief shots in a large kitchen show the women making cakes and pastries. Another woman puts potatoes in a special machine; they come out the other end without their skins! Nice shots of women dishing out food to RAF men at a mess hall or canteen (looks like stew with spotted dick and custard for pud - yum!). FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ.
