Ronald Frankau.
Probably filmed at Pathe studios, London.
M/S of a cartoon ’listening inn’ with all sorts of listening and bugging devices. Ronald Frankau gives clapperboard to his pianist Monty / Monte Crick. Frankau does an impression of Albert Sandler (?), Crick impersonates newsreader Frank Phillips. Frankau sings a song called “After the War“ which includes him giving the news as it may be then, including encouraging people to take unnecessary journeys as no-one is going on the trains. He finishes the song and curtsies at the end.
