Bee Stings (1954)

Bee Stings, Kensington in London. C/U Woman (Julia Owen - bee venom specialist) in car, tilt down to case by her side with electrical instruments and switches. L/S Rolls Royce drawing up at pavement edge. M/S Chauffeur opening door and stepping out. He opens back door and woman steps out carrying case. M/S Woman walks up steps and enters door of house. M/S Woman entering room in house and placing case on sideboard. C/U Plugging in electric lead to side of case. C/U Another instrument with a meter flickering. M/S Another woman helps first woman on with white overall. M/S Woman now opens case to reveal bees inside. C/U Jars full of bees. Pan to electrical apparatus at the end of the case. M/S She removes one of the jars from the case and closes the lid. M/S Two other old women talking, first woman walks into frame carrying her jar of bees, and starts to take one of the bees out of the jar. C/U Removing bee from jar with tweezers and placing it against old woman’s arm. C/U Elderly woman’s face (in pain
