After several near misses, Tommy Bryceland gets the first goal for St Mirren. In the second half Miller scores again for St Mirren, followed by a third goal by Jimmy Baker. Hugh Baird scores a goal for Aberdeen just before the final whistle. Captain Lapsley is presented with the cup by Mrs Dorothy Park and her husband John, President of the Scottish Football Association.
