Titles read: “WHEN JACK COMES ASHORE“. Plymouth, Devon. Item showing how a sailor spends a day ashore in Plymouth. Sailors board the Liberty boat after inspection on their ship. When they reach shore, one of the group has to go to the Royal Naval Dentist. The others play football, golf, tennis (with some girls), and have a go at snooker and darts in the pub, plus drinking beer. Some of the men go swimming; nice M/S of girls sitting around the open air pool. Two sailors have a cup of tea with two WRENS, then spend the evening dancing in the White Ensign Club.
