The Shark Patrol (1935)

Aerial and high angle shots of the New South Wales coastline around Sydney; huge teams of lifeguards / shark patrolmen march across a beach. Two men look out to sea; one looks through binoculars. He spots something and alerts the other man who waves a flag; a lifeboat moves from the beach into the water. A shark patrol aeroplane takes off from a nearby airfield after getting an SOS radio signal from the beach. One of the men in the lifeboat throws a harpoon into the water, supposedly killing the shark. The ’plane flies over the coastline before heading back to the airfield.
